❌ It’s a fake. Not sure why the source cited here is the NASA. 🤔 Lenticular clouds, also known as "lenticularis" do exist. ☁ These clouds form when warm, moist air flows over mountains. As the air rises and cools, water vapour condenses, creating clouds that often appear to cap the mountain peaks. https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/learn-about/weather/types-of-weather/clouds/other-clouds/lenticular However, the video in question was not a natural occurrence but an AI-generated creation by Tibetan artists Sonam and Namgyal, who work with Kailash Energy. They filmed Mount Kailash and then used the AI software Midjourney to add the cloud effect. https://www.indiatoday.in/fact-check/story/fact-check-mount-kailash-this-stunning-video-is-ai-generated-2565250-2024-07-11 One can see more of their work in similar themes (and with the same music) here : https://www.youtube.com/shorts/mdtRIkhGwE8 and here https://www.instagram.com/p/C0zFCA5Buhe/ or here : https://cvc.li/biLfk Kailash Energy, inspired by the sacred Mount Kailash, was founded by indigenous Tibetans with the goal of sharing their cultural heritage and spiritual energy with the world. https://kailashenergy.com/
