New ideas don’t come from thin air—they come from what WE see, do & experience. So, how do we fuel our creativity & get ideas flowing?... 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝟳 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀: 𝟭. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 – J.K. Rowling’s inspiration for Harry Potter came in part on a delayed train ride. She observed the world & boom—a great story was born. 𝟮. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – Einstein worked in different places to spark fresh ideas. A simple change of scenery can shift our thinking. 𝟯. 𝗗𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗲, 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – Leonardo da Vinci filled notebooks with sketches & notes, many of which turned into groundbreaking inventions. 𝟰. 𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 – “Why do we have to paint what we see?” Picasso’s question led to Cubism, a revolutionary art movement that changed the way we perceive. 𝟱. 𝗠𝗶𝘅 𝗨𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀 – Airbnb combined Craigslist-style listings with unused rooms. Now, it’s a billion-dollar company. 𝟲. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝘀 – The Beatles wrote their biggest hits together. Creativity often compounds when we share ideas. 𝟳. 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 – Archimedes had his “Eureka!” moment in the bathtub. Sometimes stepping away can lead to the biggest breakthroughs.
