:x: It's not true, it's an interpretation of what Steve Jobs said at a conference organized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1992. He said: “We all agree because we're paying people to tell us what to do. I don't view that we pay people to do things. That's easy to find people to do things. What's harder is to find people to tell you what should be done, right? That's what we look for. So we pay people a lot of money, and we expect them to tell us what to do.” Jobs was talking more about experienced, skilled or entrepreneurial people. And all these adjectives have little to do with intelligence. When are we going to start thinking about the fake quotes shared on the web?
