Warren Buffett wakes up at ๐Ÿฒ:๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฑ ๐—”๐— . The first thing he does is drink a can of ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ธ๐—ฒ... Yes, you read that right. The Oracle of Omaha starts his day with a can of Coke and McDonald's. He doesn't eat fruit, oatmeal, or yoghurt for breakfast. But a can of Coke and a double cheeseburger. After breakfast, he devours several newspapers. From the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The New York Times and USA Today. He also reads corporate reports, trade publications and 10-K filings. This takes him roughly 2-3 hours to finish. He drinks his 2nd can of Coke and snacks on some unhealthy delights: โ€ข See's Candies โ€ข Utz potato sticks โ€ข Dairy Queen ice cream โ€ข Chocolate chip cookies This is also where he reads all day. Buffett credits his success to He spends 80% of his day reading books and newspapers. He doesn't have social media and believes everything he needs to know is found in the papers. Warren Buffett typically goes to bed around 10:45 PM after reading for an hour. He said that he values his sleep and needs eight hours per night. But not before a dinner that includes: โ€ข See's Candies โ€ข Dairy Queen Blizzard โ€ข Steak from Gorat's Steakhouse โ€ข McDonald's Quarter Pounder with Cheese and fries โ€ข Chili cheese dog and ice cream sundae from Johnny Rockets And occasionally simple meals such as grilled chicken or fish with stir-fried vegetables. So, what can we point out from this His eating habits will make any doctor gag and cringe. Whilst his reading habits are incredibly astounding. Well... Morning routines are a funny thing in the mainstream media. Because the "packaging" is extremely clever. When in reality, those things aren't directly contributing to your success. (Actually working towards building your company/brand.) Don't get me wrong though, morning routines are a bonus, and they add incredible value to your life. (And you should form one.) But Warren Buffett is an example of why you don't need one. (To become successful.) And why you should have one. (To become more productive.) And why most people do their morning routines wrong because they base them on Your morning routine should reflect your needs and goals, not someone else's. With the recent passing of his best friend Charlie Munger, I'd like honour Warren Buffett's continuous philanthropical work through his various ventures and also highlight his wisdom in this post. No doubt many new players in the field can benefit from his lifelong insights. โœ” Itโ€™s true, Warren Buffet only eats junk food. ๐Ÿ’ต He is an American businessman and billionaire, widely considered the most successful investor of the 20th century and he is now 93! ๐Ÿ” As he says it himself, he eats like a 6-year-old : "...the lowest death rate is among 6-year-olds."(...) "It's the safest course I can take." https://tinyurl.com/4fu6cer5 ๐Ÿฅค He used to drink Pepsi but when he tried Cherry Coke he was hooked. https://tinyurl.com/5dryp7af ๐Ÿ–ผ So much so that his portrait was featured on Coke Chinese cans https://tinyurl.com/3vbf49ey ๐Ÿฅฆ Warren has no regrets, it has clearly worked for him and as he said in this interview last April: โ€œI know all these people eat all these green things and everything,โ€ he said. โ€œBut if somebody told me I would live an extra year if I ate nothing but broccoli and a few other things all my life instead of eating what I like to eat, I would say take the year off the end of my life and ... let me eat what I like to eat.โ€ https://tinyurl.com/5hxe8h44
