According to a post on June 25, 2023, on X and Linkedin by Natiq Malikzada , an Afghan writer and journalist specialising in human rights, politics, and the Middle East, the Taliban would now require that even the two eyes be reduced to only one visible, according to their interpretation of Sharia law.
