:x: It is not unique or new and the information is incorrect. This information and picture come from a video that simplistically demonstrates how grass grown in an hydroponic farm is fed to animals in Russia, even in winter, claiming fresh grass grows in just four days. https://cvc.li/EHFJs In reality, it typically takes 6 to 10 days to grow grass fodder in modern hydroponic systems. This technology is used in various countries. An Indian specialist explains its use here: https://cvc.li/tfPFk A US cattle farm highlights its benefits for their cattle feed on their website: https://cvc.li/UfHsB The technology's advantages in winter feeding were documented as far back as 1966 in this French book: https://cvc.li/HPtpr In fact, the hydroponic fodder method dates back to the 1800s, as noted in this magazine: https://cvc.li/HBxpA So it’s no surprise that some Russian farmers use hydroponic fodder, often importing it in full containers from China, not grown on their own farms: https://cvc.li/Gbxes More examples of Chinese hydroponic farms and their fodder systems can be found here: https://cvc.li/iPcrq and here: https://cvc.li/EvFTg
