Here's an idea. What do you think?

Le débunk

This news is not brand new, it had the buzz in November 2017... Non-smoking employees complained that they were working harder than smokers. Rather than suggesting "breaks" for everyone (which are beneficial), the boss of this company chose to offer extra days off to non-smokers... in order to encourage smokers to quit. We don't know whether this measure will continue at Piala, a Japanese marketing consultancy. On the other hand, it may not be such a good idea: rather than 'punishing' smokers, it might be worthwhile to promote 'breaks' during the working day, to clear the air, chat to colleagues and get up from your chair. The indicator used and monitored is "working time", not productivity. But productivity is not linked to the time spent sitting in your chair without moving... After cigarettes, we're going to be hunting down those who go to the toilet too often? and those who drink too much coffee? or who walk too slowly in the corridors between two meetings? or who leave at 6pm at the end of their working day and not at 7pm to show that they're really assiduous? As for its effectiveness, that's debatable: out of 120 smokers, only 4 stopped smoking. https://tinyurl.com/5n6uzuby https://tinyurl.com/3u39ttas
